User Agreement

Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms govern the basic rights, obligations, responsibilities, conditions, and procedures between (주)테일테일 (the “Company”) and members in connection with TailTale and all related services operated by the Company (the “Service”).
Article 2 (Definitions)
1. “Service” means all services through which the Company uses AI technology to let members create, edit, store, and share images, videos, emoticons, and other content based on uploaded images and other materials. 2. “Member” means a person who agrees to these Terms, enters into a service agreement with the Company, and uses the Service. 3. “Credits” means prepaid virtual value purchased by a member or granted by the Company for content generation and other uses within the Service. 4. “Generated Content” means images, videos, and other results created by a member through the Service.
Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)
1. These Terms take effect when posted in the Service or otherwise notified to members. 2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable laws, including Korea’s Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions and Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. 3. When the Terms are amended, the Company will state the effective date and reason and give notice at least 7 days in advance, or 30 days in advance for material or disadvantageous changes.
Article 4 (Service Agreement and Accounts)
1. A service agreement is formed when an applicant agrees to these Terms, applies for membership, and the Company accepts the application. 2. Members must manage account information with reasonable care and may not transfer or lend an account to a third party. 3. Children under 14 years of age may not register as members.
Article 5 (Provision, Change, and Suspension of the Service)
1. In principle, the Company provides the Service 24 hours a day, year-round. 2. The Company may change or suspend all or part of the Service when operationally or technically necessary, including system inspection, expansion or replacement, equipment failure, or communication interruption. Advance notice will be given where possible; urgent cases may be announced afterward. 3. Features or templates may change or be discontinued due to changes in AI models or provider policies.
Article 6 (Member Obligations and Prohibited Conduct)
Members must not: 1. Misuse another person’s information or register false information; 2. Upload or generate images that infringe another person’s portrait rights, copyrights, or other rights; 3. Create or post obscene, violent, hateful, illegal, or otherwise socially unacceptable content; 4. Use the Service abnormally or gain unauthorized access to systems; or 5. Use the Service commercially through automation or at scale without the Company’s prior consent.
Article 7 (Rights and Responsibility for Content)
1. Rights to use lawfully created Generated Content belong to the member to the extent provided by applicable law and these Terms. Members agree that the Company may display and use their public posts to operate and promote the Service. 2. Members are responsible for ensuring that original materials they upload are lawful, including with respect to portrait rights and copyright. 3. Because of the nature of AI technology, Generated Content may be inaccurate or differ from the member’s intent. Members acknowledge this when using the Service.
Article 8 (Post Management and Reports)
1. If a public post infringes another person’s rights or violates applicable law or these Terms, the Company may make it private, delete it, or limit its visibility based on a report or its own review. 2. A post that receives multiple reports may be hidden automatically until review is complete.
Article 9 (Termination and Use Restrictions)
1. Members may request account deletion at any time through the Service. 2. If a member violates these Terms, operational policies, or applicable law, the Company may restrict use or terminate the service agreement after prior notice, or provide notice afterward in urgent cases.
Article 10 (Limitation of Liability)
1. The Company is not liable for losses caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, a member’s fault, or third-party circumstances involving AI providers or payment processors. 2. Unless applicable law provides otherwise, the Company is not liable in connection with services provided free of charge.
Article 11 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution)
1. These Terms and use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. 2. The Company and members will attempt in good faith to resolve disputes through consultation. If no agreement is reached, jurisdiction will lie with the court determined under Korea’s Civil Procedure Act.
