1. Purposes of Processing

TailTale processes personal information for member management; AI image, video, and emoticon generation; library, community, and direct-message features; payment, subscription, and Credit management; customer and partnership inquiries; fraud prevention; and Service stability.

2. Information Collected

We may collect email addresses, encrypted authentication data, social-login identifiers, nicknames, profile images, uploaded photos and prompts, generated results, posts, comments and messages, payment approvals, Credit history, inquiry content, access logs, IP addresses, device and browser information, cookies, and local-storage data. TailTale does not directly store full card numbers or CVC codes.

3. Retention

Member information and generated results are retained until account closure or a deletion request. Payment and refund records, inquiry records, and access and security logs are retained for the period necessary to comply with law, respond to disputes, and prevent misuse, and are then destroyed.

4. Third-Party Disclosure and Contractors

TailTale does not disclose personal information to third parties without a legal basis or user consent. To provide the Service, TailTale may engage Supabase, Cloudflare, Resend, payment processors, OpenAI, Google, fal.ai, MiniMax, PiAPI, xAI, BytePlus, Kling, and others for authentication, storage, email, payment, and AI-generation processing.

5. Overseas Transfers

When cloud, payment, email, and AI-generation services are used, personal information may be transferred to servers in countries where contractors operate, including the United States, Singapore, Japan, and the European Union. Transfers occur through encrypted communications when a user runs a feature. Refusal may limit certain features.

6. AI Generation Notice

Users must upload only photos and materials belonging to them or used with the rights holder’s consent. Do not upload another person’s likeness, personal information, copyrighted work, or sensitive information without authorization. Generation may fail or produce different results because of AI-provider outages, policies, or safety filters.

7. User Rights

Users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or withdrawal of consent. Use the deletion feature in the Service or contact us below. TailTale does not permit registration by children under 14.

8. Safeguards and Destruction

TailTale applies safeguards including HTTPS, access controls, separate storage of secrets, log monitoring, and file-access restrictions. When retention ends or the processing purpose is fulfilled, personal information is deleted so it is difficult to restore, or is separated and then destroyed.

9. Cookies and Local Storage

Cookies and local storage may be used to maintain sign-in, remember language and theme settings and invite codes, preserve UI settings, and prevent misuse. Users may reject or delete them in browser settings, but some features may be limited.

10. Google AdSense and Advertising Cookies

If TailTale uses advertising services such as Google AdSense, Google and other third-party advertisers may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers to provide ads based on visits to TailTale or other websites. Google and its partners may use this information to serve and personalize ads, measure effectiveness, and prevent misuse. Users can disable personalized ads in Google Ads settings.
